College Nurse and Doctors

Alison Nicholls is the College Nurse. Her role is to advise, treat and support any college student who is unwell, injured or in any other difficulty. She can give family planning advice, including emergency contraception, and travel vaccinations.  Surgery times are Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. 12.30 – 14.15, Wed. 10.30 – 13.15, 0th-9th week. She is also the nurse at Hertford and St Antony’s colleges and students can also see her at her surgeries in these colleges; times can be found through the lodge.

One of the college doctors, Dr. Siobhan Becker or Dr. Kyle Knox will be in the surgery each Wednesday 10:30 -12:30 (Weeks 1-8). Appointments may be booked by emailing the College Nurse.

On evenings and weekends the GP out-of-hours service can be contacted on 08453 458 995.

The College can reimburse travel costs for essential medical journeys, including regular hospital appointments.
